Danny Burton is a 30-ish carefree single guy who has watched most of his friends move on to serious relationships.
When his last remaining friend Shannon moves out to get married, Danny searches for a new roommate.
Together they really made the story work and was actually believable.
John Farley is a very successful author of the book "Letting Go", a book on how to let go of a rough past and rebuild your life.
I get the whole, oh it's been done before, but I ask you this, is it a cop/crime/talent/hospital/prank/csi/elimination/reality show? A comedy like this has been needed for ages, and while there's been a lot of comedies that have tried to fill this void, a lot 'just miss' that special something, like the characters are just a little too oddly cast, or the writing isn't quite good enough or et al. You could put it on and a family could watch it, it's not just for super young people or super old people or a fresh and funky comedy targeted at 20-somethings. If you like Rules of Engagement, The Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, That '70s Show, Cheers or a range of other comedies, then I'd definitely recommend giving this a shot!
As for all the naysayers and hate mongerers out there, ping ping pew pew ping ping, stop with all the negative vibes, man.

There were some really great laughs in the film, the scene that got me was definitely the pot hole scene, I'm not going to spoil it, but I guarantee you for sure that you'll get a huge laugh once you see it. Woodcock is a fun comedy that I recommend, Billy Bob is just an awesome Mr.
As for having a laugh track (not that it needs one), well good, I'm kind of glad in a way.
There's a lot of people who aren't fortunate enough to have a wicked sense of humor and so a laugh track can help lube up the pipes for a good belly chuckle for those less fortunates.
